Ready to test your aim? Join us for Axe Throwing during Homecoming tailgating! This free event is perfect for adding some thrilling fun to your Homecoming experience. Step up to the target, channel your inner lumberjack, and see how well you can land the bullseye.
Important: All participants must sign a waiver to join in on the fun, so be sure to stop by early and get ready to throw! Don't miss your chance to take part in this exciting tailgate activity!

Get ready to laugh out loud as the Campus Activities Council (CAC) proudly presents Jim Ruel for a night of unforgettable comedy at UMN Morris' Homecoming celebration! Join us on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 8:30 p.m. for a hilarious performance by this talented comedian. Jim Ruel, a stand-up comedian of Ojibwe descent, is known for his witty observations, clever humor, and unique storytelling. His comedy blends personal experiences with sharp social commentary, offering a fresh and entertaining perspective that resonates with audiences of all backgrounds.
This event is part of the Homecoming festivities, promising an evening filled with joy and laughter. Don't miss the chance to see Jim Ruel live on stage, delivering his signature brand of humor that has charmed audiences nationwide. Whether you're a student, an alumni, or a Morris community member, this is a show you won't want to miss. Bio: Jim Ruel is a comedian, writer, and actor. He is an Ojibwe Native American of the Bay Mills Indian Community. He grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he spent the first ten years of his career performing in comedy clubs around the Midwest. He was a finalist in NBC’s Diversity Talent Search, leading to his first television appearance on ‘The World Stands Up,’ taped in London, England. He was also featured on ‘Goin Native: the American Indian Comedy Slam’ on Showtime. He works in film and media as the Intertribal Entertainment Production Coordinator for the Southern California Indian Center. Jim is the host/writer of the Indiginerd Project video blog on YouTube.

Students can choose an animal to stuff with love, each dressed in a 2024 Homecoming shirt. You can even pick up a free matching shirt for yourself! Choose from various animals, including returning favorites and some new surprises. Don't miss out on creating a cuddly companion filled with love!

Get ready for Pep Fest and fuel your excitement as we continue Homecoming 2024 festivities! Pep Fest kicks off at 7 p.m. in the Cougar Sports Center Gymnasium, and the entire UMM community is invited to join the fun and excitement. Cougar Athletics, Campus Activities Council, and various campus departments and student groups are coming together to plan engaging activities to make this a memorable experience for all. Join us for Pep Fest and create memories that will last a lifetime!

What's Up Wednesday is an event series sponsored by the Campus Activities Council (CAC) that takes place on Wednesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. in Turtle Mountain Cafe. Student organizations can sign up to host an activity on an available Wednesday to gain visibility for their organization, engage more students, and have fun!
