We cannot wait to have you join TRIO Student Support Services as First Gen author, Alejandra Campoverdi, visits campus.
In this powerful story, Alejandra reflects on her experiences as a first-generation Latina navigating identity, higher education, family, belonging, and the emotional toll of social mobility. We hope you enjoyed the book as much as we did and look forward to seeing you at any or all of the events as part of Alejandra's visit to campus.

Book Club Meeting with the Author
Join us for an intimate discussion with Alejandra herself as we dive deeper into her memoir. This is a special opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the author.

Fireside Chat with the Author
For a wider audience, we’ll be hosting a fireside chat with Alejandra, where she’ll share more about her journey and experiences as a first-generation Latina. This event is open to all and promises an inspiring conversation. Our students will be leading and moderating the conversation, making this a unique opportunity to hear directly from them as well.
