First Generation College Student Week!

First-Gen Week is a national event that celebrates and supports students who are the first in their families to attend college. The week promotes awareness of the unique challenges faced by first-gen students and encourages engagement and support within colleges and universities. First-Gen Week is celebrated alongside National First-Generation College Celebration Day on November 8.

Join TRIO Student Support Services; TRIO McNair; Equity, Diversity, and Intercultural Programs, and the Student Success Center in celebrating our first generation college students, faculty, and staff. We will be tabling to raise awareness of first generation college students' strengths, share stories, and promote resources.
