Join us in wearing orange to honor the survivors of residential and boarding schools, remember those who did not return home, and recognize the ongoing impact of colonization on Indigenous communities.

Observed as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Orange Shirt Day invites all students, faculty, and staff to reflect, learn, and stand in solidarity with Indigenous peoples.

Wearing orange is a simple but powerful act of remembrance and a commitment to truth, healing, and justice. 🧡

Get ready to join CAC for another exciting round of Ready, Teddy, Go! This Homecoming Edition is free for UMN students. Students can choose an animal to stuff with love, each dressed in a 2025 Homecoming shirt— you can even pick up a free matching shirt for yourself!
(ONE PER STUDENT — matching shirts available for the first 200 student participants)

Whether you’re spooky, silly, sparkly, or surreal—Costume Day is your time to shine! Show off your creativity and dress up as your favorite character, pun, or alter ego. Faculty, staff, and students are all invited to bring the spirit to campus.

Be bold, be respectful, and most of all—have fun! Costumes should celebrate creativity, not cultures, and should be appropriate for our shared learning environment.

Pep Fest kicks off at 7 p.m. in the Cougar Sports Center Gymnasium, and the entire UMM community is invited to join the fun and excitement. Cougar Athletics, Campus Activities Council, and various campus departments and student groups are coming together to plan engaging activities to make this a memorable experience for all. Get ready to cheer for your favorite student or faculty/staff member as they race to complete a variety of challenges. Join us for Pep Fest and create memories that will last a lifetime!

As a part of the Homecoming schedule , BSU will be hosting a bags throwing competition and face painting.

Ready to test your aim? Join us for Axe Throwing during Homecoming tailgating! This free event is perfect for adding some thrilling fun to your Homecoming experience. Step up to the target, channel your inner lumberjack, and see how well you can land the bullseye.
