Join MMPAC on January 28 from 2:30 to 4:00 pm in the HFA Theatre Scene Shop for a hands on puppet building workshop.

Associate Professor of Theatre Arts Lucas Granholm will lead a start to finish demonstration on how to build a Muppet style puppet, bringing foam, fabric, and character to life right before your eyes.

Participants are welcome to drop in, observe, ask questions, and come and go as they please. This workshop will explore the many styles and personalities puppetscan take on, as well as how puppetry is used across a wide range of performance practices including theatre, film, and live entertainment.

All are welcome! Come play, learn, and see what makes a puppet breathe.
